WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO
I hope you are keeping well!
With my last physical show having been something like 15 months ago and digital ones being hard to come by I initially threw myself into writing new material. A futile attempt at taking my mind off things. And while I was rather proud of the resulting album, not being able to play the songs live has disheartened me. Instead my efforts of late have been placed elsewhere, namely modelling. I have always loved photography and have dabbled in self portraiture since 2006 but as lockdown eases I have finally been able to connect with other creative minds and collaborate on some (hopefully) beautiful images. It has taken me out of my comfort zone as posing was never my strong point and I'm notoriously socially awkward but meeting new and like-minded people has been such a thrill. I hope to be able to share some of them here soon if I can create a few albums on here of some of the highlights :)

DISCOGRAPHY
Anna Secret Poet began releasing music in a rather haphazard manner. Her first album 'Vowel Movements' was thrown together quickly to give away at gigs. It was an odd mixture of poetry, covers songs and eclectic originals but folk were soon thrusting money into her perplexed hands. 3 more albums, 3 singles and 1 E.P. later her discography has swollen into a satisfying collection of finely crafted tunes described by one observer as 'a refreshing blast of genre-defying fun!'
